TSCR – Top Secret Chrono Crypt

Chrono-Entropic Encryption Engine

Premium Data & Secrets Protection Tool

Share YOUR SECRETS only when you want to. 😉😎

TSCR is a multi-platform data protection and encryption system, developed from the original TimeCRYPT project line into a Premium Data & Secrets Protection Tool intended for users who seek not merely declarative encryption, but real, serious, and substantial protection of their data.

Unlike traditional tools that primarily rely on long-known, widely analysed, and predictable cryptographic patterns, TSCR introduces its own chrono-entropic model, in which time and controlled unpredictability serve as structural security parameters.

Through this original approach, native TSCR profiles, AES integration, the black-box protection concept, and unified workflows for protecting text, files, folders, and secrets, TSCR builds its identity as a premium tool for users who want a higher level of individual control, privacy, and real data protection.

TSCR brings together practical data protection, local encryption, text, file and folder workflows, secret management, secure value generation, a multilingual interface, desktop tray/shortcut access, system diagnostics, automatic updating, and licensing workflow into one integrated environment.

In this way, it represents a sound and practical hybrid between an advanced data-protection tool and a personal secret/password management system.

Main features and characteristics of TSCR:

A unified ecosystem for encryption and data protection
A native chrono-entropic algorithm
Controlled unpredictability as an integral security layer
A multi-platform application with multiple encryption profiles:
    • TSCR mode – a balanced native chrono-entropic profile.
    • TOP SECRET mode – a PARANOID-LEVEL security profile that uses a multiple, x256!! expanded encryption set. It is intended for scenarios where protection takes priority over speed and output size. It is expected to be the slowest profile, but it can have very favourable overhead for short texts.
    • TSCR AES mode – a TSCR-customized AES-integrated profile for efficient work with larger amounts of data and larger files. Before the AES layer, data is additionally prepared, processed, pre-encrypted, and hashed through the TSCR workflow, so it cannot practically be decrypted using only a conventional AES procedure without the TSCR AES decryptor.

Text, file, and folder protection – encryption and decryption of text content, files, and folders through unified workflows, with profile selection, temporary-key support, status display, and an operational log.

Folders are processed through a controlled ZIP → encrypt workflow, while the Files/Folders section also includes supporting Hash, Zip, and UnZip functions.

For text, compact secrets, shorter content, and smaller files, native TSCR profiles in practical tests can show approximately 10–20x faster encryption with lower output overhead compared with AES-based processing, despite modern CPU-level AES acceleration.

Trezor Tajni / Secret Vault – a secure place for storing all important user secrets. Secrets are stored in a local vault protected by TOP SECRET TSCR encryption, so even in the event of unauthorized computer access or theft of the vault file, an attacker does not obtain usable data, and your secrets remain only your secrets.

Trezor Tajni enables structured storage and management of sensitive data such as:
    • Login credentials
    • Accounts and user-account data
    • Banking data
    • Payment cards
    • API keys and tokens
    • Notes and personal secrets

Online Vault – a server/database-backed backup and migration workflow for secrets, in which data is stored in encrypted form. This preserves the core TSCR principle that the secret itself must not be available in an untrusted environment, so secrets remain protected even in the event of a server or database breach.

Secret Vault import and export – controlled workflows for transferring, migrating, and archiving secrets, with format autodetection and selection, preview, data validation, and clear warnings when an export produces an unencrypted file.

Secret Generator / TT-Generator – an integrated tool specialized for simple generation, estimation, and security-level assessment of different secret types, with the ability to operate independently or directly from the Trezor Tajni workflow.

The Secret Generator can also be opened quickly using the internal application shortcut Alt+G.

Supported controlled output types include:
    • Passwords
    • Passphrases – dictionary-based, with localized and multilingual support, including LangMIX mode for combining words from multiple languages
    • PIN codes
    • Tokens
    • API keys
    • UUID values
    • Usernames
    • Wi-Fi passwords
    • Test cards
    • Short secure phrases

TSCR Estimator – a heuristic estimate of secret strength, entropy, and the approximate time required to crack a generated or manually entered value.

Desktop app-interface layer and TSCR Tray – the system tray menu and global shortcuts make TSCR instantly available without interrupting ongoing work.

With a single press of F9, the user can display the application, protect text, a file, or a secret, then hide TSCR back to the tray and immediately continue the previous task. Direct access to major functionality through the tray significantly improves TSCR's speed, practicality, and everyday usability.

On Windows, the global shortcuts F9 and Ctrl+F9 are supported, while Linux/KDE/Wayland environments support F9 and Alt+F9 through the corresponding desktop integration, D-Bus, .desktop launchers, and KGlobalAccel setup when available.

Multilingual TSCR runtime – a multilingual interface system based on a local encrypted language file, database support, and a fallback mechanism, covering GUI texts, tooltips, system messages, Help/About documentation, and the display of language and script names.

TSCR-AI language assistant – an original TSCR capability that allows the application to generate new interface languages and corresponding passphrase dictionaries through a controlled AI workflow.

This gives TSCR practical self-adaptive multilingual behaviour: the user can request a language that was not prepared in advance, while the application can structurally generate, validate, save, and activate a new language object with checkpoint/resume logic, HTML-safe processing, and provider fallback.

Multilingual passphrase dictionary – a local and database-supported dictionary system for the passphrase generator, with language-separated word sets, multilingual combination support, and the ability to add new languages through the TSCR-AI workflow.

Extended system information – a detailed diagnostic and information section covering system, hardware, memory, network, and user data, expanded with a weather bulletin, AIR Quality & Allergens data, and GEO information.

Automatic TSCR updating – an update workflow for downloading, verifying, and installing new versions, including security changes, bug fixes, and compatibility updates when available through the active release channel, with the goal of avoiding unnecessary technical steps for the user.

A fast, simple, and user-friendly purchase and licensing system – an integrated workflow for plan selection, purchase creation and tracking, payment confirmation, and license activation, with support for time-based PRO licenses and the LEGACY license.

Three clearly separated activation modes are supported:
    • Automatic activation – the default and recommended mode, intended for the fastest and simplest continuation of work immediately after payment confirmation.
    • Deferred activation – allows a license to be purchased in advance and activated when it suits the user.
    • Offline / manual activation – intended for devices that do not have a direct internet connection during purchase or activation.

In all three modes, the checkout page can be opened directly from the application or transferred to a phone using the displayed QR code, enabling fast and convenient mobile payment without changing the underlying purchase and activation workflow.

TSCR supports modern online purchase and activation flows, while its core local functions do not depend on continuous cloud connectivity, giving the user a higher level of practical control over their own environment.

Controlled Trial, Demo, Recovery, and restricted-access states – the application can operate in different controlled modes depending on the license, identity, integrity, and local protection state.

Demo mode is a controlled one-hour limited state with status and remaining-time display. After the Demo period expires, the application enters a restricted-access state instead of resetting the Demo period on restart.

Application-integrity, protected-runtime, anti-reset, anti-abuse, and license-protection mechanisms – TSCR is based on the principle that user data and secrets cannot be sufficiently protected if the application itself and its engine are not sufficiently protected.

That is why, in addition to encrypting user data, TSCR protects its own engine, runtime, local identity, protection state, and licensing workflow.

~98% of TSCR's own application and runtime code is protected by the original TSCR encryption and controlled code-loading system, which practically covers the application's complete key functional code.

Protected layers are decrypted and loaded in a controlled manner during operation instead of being permanently exposed as ordinary readable source code.

Together with the TSCR black-box strategy, integrity checks, and additional protection layers, this model significantly increases resistance to analysis, unauthorized modification, reset attempts, and application misuse.

Application settings, access, and keys – the application itself is protected by a credential and login system, with support for a main/master key, a working/temporary key, user e-mail, core settings, and user-support options.

Local and server/database encrypted storage formats – controlled data handling, support for online and offline operating scenarios, and a foundation for secure server/database workflows in which the secret payload remains encrypted and is not exposed to an untrusted environment.

Future TSCR Data & Secrets Security Ecosystem

TSCR v2.5 represents the first complete product and the technological core of the future TSCR Data & Secrets Security Ecosystem.

It combines the original encryption engine, data protection, Trezor Tajni, Secret Generator, multilingual and AI runtime, desktop integration, and the hybrid licensing system into a functional foundation for developing new security modules, services, and platforms.

Planned development directions include:
    • TSCR Authenticator – management of TOTP/HOTP authentication and 2FA secrets
